What We Collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — used for sign-in and account recovery
- Username — your chosen display name, shown on leaderboards
- High scores — your best score per game, stored to display personal records and leaderboard rankings
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (page views, session duration, general location). Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect anonymized usage data. No personally identifiable information is sent. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.
What We Don't Collect
- No personal data beyond email and username
- No gameplay telemetry or behavioral data
How Data Is Stored
Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. High scores are stored in AWS DynamoDB. All data is hosted in the us-east-1 AWS region.
Authentication Tokens
When you sign in, authentication tokens are stored in your browser's localStorage. These tokens expire automatically and are cleared when you sign out. No third-party cookies are used.
Leaderboards
Your username and high scores are publicly visible on game leaderboards. Your email address is never displayed publicly.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. This permanently removes your Cognito account and all stored high scores. This action cannot be undone.
Third-Party Services
- AWS Cognito — authentication
- AWS DynamoDB — high score storage
- Google Analytics — usage analytics (subject to Google's privacy policy)
- Google Fonts — font delivery
Changes
We may update this policy as features change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
