Cascade
Stack falling cells, chain color matches, and shatter the lab boss before your tube overflows.
Objective
Pieces fall into a glass tube. Land them so groups of four or more same-colored cells touch — they shatter on contact and damage the boss above. Chain shatters to multiply damage. Survive until the boss dies, then face the next one. The run ends when a new piece can no longer enter the tube.

How it works
- Color matches — four or more connected cells of the same color clear together. Larger groups deal more damage and score.
- Chains — when a clear causes cells above to fall into a new match, the chain depth increases. Damage and score scale as
chainDepth², so a 3-chain hits roughly 9× harder than a single clear. - Boss attacks — between turns the boss telegraphs and drops junk cells into your tube. Junk doesn't match by color; it only clears when something next to it shatters.
- Specials — pieces occasionally contain a bomb (orange, clears a 3×3 area) or a color-bomb (magenta, converts every cell of one random color into another). Each boss spawns at most one color-bomb.
- Boss ladder — every boss you defeat raises the base fall speed and slightly toughens the next one. Surviving long against a single boss adds a survival bonus to its kill reward.
- Difficulty — set in
ESCsettings: Easy, Normal, or Hard. The setting tunes how much damage you deal relative to boss HP, not the falling speed.
Scoring
- Soft drop:
+1per cell of fall. - Hard drop:
+2per cell of fall. - Color clear:
cells × 20 × chainDepth². A 5-cell match on a chain of 3 is5 × 20 × 9 = 900. - Bomb blast:
cells × 20for every cell removed by the explosion. - Boss kill:
5,000 + 1,000 × bosses already defeated this run. The first boss is 5k, the second 6k, and so on. - Survival bonus: up to
+100for each second remaining on the boss's attack timer when you finish it off.
Strategy
- Build, don't react. A 1× clear is barely a scratch. Stack 2–3 layers of mixed colors with deliberate "trigger" cells, then drop a piece that unlocks the whole stack in one chain.
- Save bombs for trouble. Bombs are at their best when junk cells start clogging a column — one blast clears the column and the cells around it. Don't waste them on a tidy field.
- Color-bomb is a setup move. Use it to convert a stranded color into your dominant color, turning two near-matches into one giant chain. Less effective when fired into a balanced field.
- Watch the boss timer, not just HP. A near-dead boss with a long attack timer is worth burning a chain on — that survival bonus is huge over a full run.
- Don't fight the rotation. When a piece won't fit, soft-drop it into a flat area and rebuild — locking awkward orientations leaves dead columns that overflow you.
- Leave a well. Keep one column shorter than the others as a release valve. When the boss dumps junk, that gap absorbs it without forcing you to top out.
